Business Management

DairyCo provides business tools and advice for dairy farmers, and delivers solutions to common issues through its Knowledge Transfer service.

Activities are always practical and farmer-focused and made accessible and interactive through the work of the Extension Officers and the many other communication products.

Some of the main business management tools include:

• Dairy Business Groups
  Discussion groups, designed to tackle and resolve many of the common issues around milk production.
• Benchmarking using DairyCo's unique online tool, Milkbench+
• What If? Workshops
  3 Day workshops using computers and consultants to allow farmers to gain an in-depth knowledge of their costs of production, test out ideas about changing parts of their businesses and then create an implementation plan.
